About FuturesSignal
Independent, plain-English education for people learning how futures markets work.
Our mission
Futures markets set prices for the oil in your car, the wheat in your bread, and the interest rate on your mortgage. They're also where many new traders lose money quickly, often because they didn't understand leverage, contract size, or risk before they started.
FuturesSignal exists to close that gap. We explain how futures work in plain language, with worked dollar examples, honest discussion of risk, and free tools that turn contract specifications into numbers you can plan around.
What we are not
Not a signal service, broker, or advisor
We don't sell trade signals, manage money, or give individualized advice, and we aren't registered with the CFTC or NFA. Our "signals" content teaches how to evaluate signals and the people who sell them.
Editorial standards
- Primary sources. Contract specifications come from the exchange (CME Group). Regulatory and investor-protection information comes from the CFTC and NFA. Economic data references point to the agencies that publish it.
- Dated and reviewed. Every guide shows when it was last reviewed. Specs and margins change, and we say so.
- No performance claims. We don't publish testimonials, profit screenshots, or backtest returns.
- Risk in every guide. Each article closes with what can go wrong.
- Corrections. Spot an error? Tell us and we'll review it promptly.
